Curriculum/activities
Eighth grade is a culmination of all the students have learned at Saint Peter. We focus in on leadership, faith, and high school preparation.
Our students will learn about the morals of the Catholic faith and how to serve Jesus by being the Church. They will collaborate and use STEM to learn Earth, Life, Physical, and Computer sciences. They will explore American history, government, and geography from 1600-1900. Students will focus on grammar mechanics, building vocabulary and writing skills in various genres. They will master different literary elements and read a variety of fiction, nonfiction, short stories, and novels. Students will have the opportunity to test into Algebra I, which is eligible for high school credit.
